The TTXGP an eco-friendly race of electrics motorcycles


TTXGP (Time Trial Xtreme Grand Prix), a new event for the 2009 Isle of Man TT races, is the 1 Lap (37.733 Miles) TTXGP for racing motorcycles "to be powered without the use of carbon based fuels and have zero toxic/noxious emissions."

The qualification time is 50 minute for a lap of mountain course at average speed of 45mph

Few technicals details if you are interest in the Agni Team prototype : On this Suzuki GSX-R 600 we can found two motor Agni 95 renforced develloping an average of 40 to 50 hp during the race. But to hope about 40 miles of autonomy, not less than 16 kWh of capacity is required arranged in 63 cells of Lithium-polymer Kokam batteries.
